Biography
Khater is a member of the Badya University Board of Trustees. He also held the position of Taaleem Management Services’ CFO since 2016.
Khater holds a BA in accounting from Suez Canal University and an MS with a concentration in investment and finance from the AAST. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter.
Khater brings over two decades of financial and management experience gained through various capacities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare, telecommunications, and education sectors. Khater played an integral role in planning and implementing Taaleem’s group strategy and in listing it in the EGX.
Before joining Taaleem, he was the Deputy CFO of Mobiserve Holding, one of the region’s leading companies providing technical and telecom services. He also held multiple accounting and finance positions of which his latest position was the Financial Controller of Canal Pharmaceuticals. In addition to his corporate positions, Khater had seven years of teaching experience with multiple institutions including the AmCham and the League of Arab States in Egypt, serving as post-graduate and practical Learning Advisor.
